Introducing Asher

This is my new grand daughter who arrived a couple of hours ago weighing 8 lb and 1 oz, and one day before her due date.

I’ll have to wait until I’ve thoroughly shaken off the current lurgy before I get to meet her in person, but thanks to the wonders of the innernets, I know who she resembles [ and I know that they change ], but for now she is the image of her middle brother Noah, and so like the first photos of her daddy.

    She’s beautiful. Congratulations to all.

I hope you feel better soon so you can meet her in person. I understand how you must feel as my second grandchild, first granddaughter, had to wait over a week to meet in person because of a nasty lurgy I had.

Asher doesn’t have a hope – she comes by that gene from both sides: other Nannie Janice is ALSO a quilter and knitter, and where I’m the spinner [ and Auntie Nadie too of course ] she is the most superb embroiderer.

Congratulations Susan, beautiful baby. You will be busy. I can remember when the first grandchild was born you had the flu and couldn’t visit. Hopefully Nadie will have hers in the warmer months and you will be germ-free.

Saw #1 at less than 1 day old, but #2 was the one I didn’t get to see until he was 4 days old. I had forgotten why – goodness you have a good memory Sue!

Congratulations, and lots of envy! šŸ™‚
