The View From The Couch

For days now I’ve been valiantly trying to reach the computer … but every time I try, there is a mysterious weight on my chest and/or limbs, and I’m struck by partial paralysis.

Can’t imagine what’s responsible …

ahem …

right …

I may have found the seat of the problem …

  1. The cat in the last photo is looking right through me … as cats have a habit of doing!

  2. Val Groombridge says:

I know that feeling only to well, and should you decide to move you receive the blackest looks!!!!

  3. Dorothy says:

Love that last pic …. what a happy little family.

you’ll notice that in the first one Suki [ somewhat portly puss looking at camera], Bear-the-dawg and Sophie are co-habiting on my carcass quite happily, whereas in the second, MissC is resolutely ignoring everyone else.

  4. gayle says:

I was worried that you didn’t have anyone looking after you while convalescing – I see you’ve got that ‘covered’…

  5. Linda says:

Ohhhh, that’ll do it! Thank goodness it’s an easy problem to remedy!

  6. In my house, that’s called “kitty healing”! Our cats always sought out the sick one in the house and stayed at the sickies’ side despite suggestions to visit someone else! I hope you are better!

  7. Have you seen this Rita Hayworth dance compilation? It’s great…might disturb the cats though!

  8. Carol says:

Well there are some furry friends there to make sure you are all warm and snuggle and getting better.

  9. Jan says:

I think they may be making sure you don’t get up and leave them again.

I second the cats comforting the sick. Well known actually.

  10. Lynne says:

They will be in for a shock when you’re up and about again! Hope that’s sooner rather than later!

  11. Caity says:

Good to see you are being well looked after!

  12. donna lee says:

Nothing mysterious about it. They LOOOOOVE you!

  13. ozjane says:

Mogs has not yet worked out the lap in bed is good to sit on….she instead insists that books etc go away as she is ready to sleep in the curve of my right arm….on the door side of the bed….not sure what happens after Oct….suspect she will have to settle for the left side which has happened on occasions
Hope they are not hampering the recovery but keeping you nice and warm.
